Khoisan's exclusive Organic Green Matcha leaves originate from Shizuoka, Aichi, Kyoto Prefectures and Kyushu Island in Japan. For the Organic Green Matcha Khoisan selected a type with a bit more the astringency compared to ceremonial Matcha in order to give more impact on confectionery and RTD (ready to drink) drink use.
Like the Organic Rooibos Matcha, it gets also stone ground in Japanese granite stone mills. Just try to mix Matcha with table salt and use for fish plate or salad.

How to Prepare:
- Preheat the tea bowl with boiling water. Moisten the chasen (tea whisk) the discard the water
- Scoop 2 grams* of powdered green tea (matcha) and add approximately one teacup (170ml-230ml) of hot water.
- Hold the bowl firmly with one hand and whisk with the chasen from left to right to form frothy bubbles. Whisk the Matcha well and break up any small lumps with the tip of your whisk. This assures the most optimal flavour and a smooth and creamy texture.
- Hold the chasen in the middle of your foam, and allow the liquid in the chasen to draw off, and gently remove the whisk.
*1/4 teaspoon per 170 - 230ml of water
Tip: Use a mini electric hand whisk if you don't have a chasen
